Super Eagles of Nigeria’s group opponent at the forthcoming 2019 AFCON in Egypt, Guinea are expected to play Pharaohs Egypt in an international friendly as they intensify preparation for the tournament.

The Match is expected to be played at Borg El Rabi stadium in Alexandria on Monday 17th of June four days after Egypt would have played Tanzania.

The Guinea national football team, nicknamed Syli Nationale’s best finish in the Africa Cup of Nations was second in 1976.

The team reached the quarter-finals in four recent tournaments (2004, 2006, 2008, 2015).

They are placed in the Group B of this year’s edition alongside Burundi, Madagascar, and Nigeria.
