Nigeria cleared the gold in the Men and Women U20 4x100m finals at the CAA Africa U18 and U20 Championships in Abidjan on Saturday.
While the Men ran a time of 40.21 to clinch pole position ahead of Gambia and host Ivory Coast; the Women’s relay team beat second placed South Africa by almost +2 second.
Ivory Coast finished third in the race to settle for bronze.
Meanwhile in the Medley Relay, team Nigeria showed some dominance finishing with Gold in the U18 Girls final in 2:11.93 ahead of Gambia and South Africa.

Their male counterparts came in second behind South Africa in 1:53.56; 4.06 seconds slower.
