Silver medal winning handball coach Nnamani calls for more support ahead U19 Handball world cup

Coach of Nigeria’s U19 handball team that finished second at the just concluded International Handball Federation Challenge series in Kosovo Emeka Nnamani has called for more support for the team ahead of the team’s participation at the U19 handball world cup. 

An excited Nnamani speaking in a telephone chat with www.brila.net after the team’s arrival Monday night said it was a proud moment for him and the players to have gotten that far.
He rued missing out of the winner’s trophy but still appreciated the team’s effort to have come second.
“I am very happy we got to this stage, it is not by our own making but God’s making and motivation we had from the Federation President.
It is not easy but we did our best. They should continue looking up to the team and continue encouraging us ahead of the world cup.”
Nigeria’s U19 team will be going on a break to regroup at a  later date ahead of the U19 handball world cup in Macedonia.
