Nigeria Sports Minister Solomon Dalung has “blankets pulled over his head” by unscrupulous officials in the Ministry of Sports, who are bent on tarnishing the Country’s grassroots sport, so says national President of Nigeria School Sports Federation, Ibrahim Mohammed.

The NSSF Boss decried ‘the deliberate attempts’ from within the Ministry to undermine the body, that remains the ‘only legitimate’ agency charged with the responsibility of organizing Under age sports activities across the Country.

Speaking with brila.net Mohammed suggested Nigeria’s image is laundered as a Nation that cheats because certain desperadoes in the Ministry, unbeknownst to the Minister Dalung, have almost legitimized what initially was an oversight.
