The Nigeria Football Federation technical director Bitrus Bewarang has called on Nigerians to pray and give support to the Golden Eaglets as they will be going up against other competitors to battle for AFCON in Tanzania this weekend.
In a chat with brila.net Bewarang stated that the coaches felt bad when they could not qualify the Team on two occasions when given the mantle but they seem ready to take every game seriously in Tanzania.
‘We didn’t attend the cadet Championship on two occasions and I know how dissapointing they felt,”
“They are taking every game so serious this time around”
“I am also urging Nigerian football supporters as usual to pray for the team hoping the team will do well’ he concluded.
The Nigeria Golden Eaglets earlier on Wednesday morning departed the shores of the country for Tanzania ahead of the U-17 African Cup of Nations.
