Super Eagles forward Samuel Kalu has been ruled out again due to injury and the former Genk winger will be missing tonight’s Ligue 0ne clash with Olympique Marseille.
His exclusion for tonight’s game was confirmed by Bordeaux chief coach, Paulo Sousa at a pre-match conference.
“He will not be present for Friday, no,” Sousa stated.
He also told journalists present at the briefing of his intentions to draft Kalu as a right wing-back when he returns to full fitness.
“He can play in the right position in the 3-4-3 system, yes. He does that in selection, he does that, he can create and score goals as he has done in Belgium already, He can play two or three positions,” he explained.
Kalu has scored four times for Bordeaux in 30 games across all competitions since joining last summer.
