Villarreal and Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze has been crowned the best young player at the second edition of the Aiteo-NFF awards.

The 19-year-old beat Super Eagles teammates Victor Osimhen and Henry Onyekuru to the prestigious prize.

 

Chukwueze has been impressive for his Spanish League side scoring six goals and registering one assist across all competitions for the Yellow Submarines this season.

 

In the female category, Falcons striker Anam Imo, emerged the winner of the women’s category of ‘Young Player of the year’.
