Relegation threatened Remo Stars have hit another low following the sensational claim by its Coach Kennedy Boboye, that his team’s pre season form as well as the player’s performance was a “flash in the pan.”
Boboye who won the NPFL title in 2017 with Plateau United, has suggested he was hoodwinked into thinking he had a great squad of players ahead of the 2019 season, but has been let down.
The Coach, though accepts responsibility for the club’s current position in the league table; second from bottom with survival in the topflight hanging by a thread.
‘Actually, I take responsibility for anything that’s happening in Remo Stars because I can and met players on ground. I was asked to recruit players, but when I saw them play in Aba I was impressed with the way they played and I said I can work with this ones.
‘But it was a flash in pan, with what’s happening to Remo Stars now,’ the coach told brila.net
