An impressive show by right back Dani Alves over two legs was enough to see the Old Lady of Italy back in the Champions league final since 2015. Three assists and a goal from the Brazilian was enough to see Juventus through on aggregate 4-1 over French side AS Monaco.
Alves got Juve going with 33 minutes in, finding Mario Mandzukic at the back post for the opener.
Then, just before half time, he scored this ferocious volley after the goalkeeper left his line, to make it 2-0 at the break.
AS Monaco got one back from Kylian Mbappe in the 69th minute, which was Juve’s first goal conceded in the competition since the group stage, but the highest goal scoring team in Europe couldn’t produce any more.
Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid will be Juve’s opponent in the final, with the two playing their second leg on Wednesday. Real leads 3-0 after the first leg thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat trick.
