Former Juventus, Chelsea, Nantes, Leicester, and Chelsea MANAGER Claudio Ranieri landed in Rome on Friday via a flight from London and is set to start his second stint in charge of AS Roma.
Roma on Thursday sacked coach Eusebio Di Francesco after their Champions League last 16 exit to Porto Wednesday night and Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Lazio in the derby.
Ranieri, 67, is best known for leading minnows Leicester City to the 2015-16 Premier League title.
The much-traveled coach was also in charge of Roma between 2009 and 2011. He was recently dismissed by Fulham after a short stint at the helm of the London side.
