Former Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers has pledged to “give his life” to Leicester City as he was confirmed as their manager.
The Irishman’s Celtic departure was sealed earlier on Tuesday, while Neil Lennon has now been confirmed as his countryman’s replacement.
Speaking to Leicester’s club TV channel, the 46-year-old delivered a rather dramatic commitment.
After signing a three-year contract at the King Power, Rodgers said: “I promise that I’ll give my life to making them proud of their team and proud of their club, and I look forward to working with them because together we’re stronger.
