Abia Warriors player, Adebayo Abiodun has declared his readiness to play for the CHAN Eagles having missed out on being invited of the last CHAN team.
Speaking with brila.net, Adebayo noted that the dream of every footballer is to play for his fatherland and he will keep churning out impressive displays to get the attention of national team handlers in Nigeria.
“It is the joy of every player to represent their country because It is also why we play this game. I believe the coaches know better in terms of qualities and the kind of player they want and so I missed out of an invite last year. This year however, I’m working much harder than I did last year to achieve a call-up”, he wrapped.
Adebayo was in action for Abia Warriors in a matchday 10 NPFL fixture away to Kano Pillars where they lost 2-0. A result that has seen them 9th on the 12-team Group B log.
