Esperance of Tunisia forward, Junior Lokosa has declared that he would be willing to play for the national U-23 team once head coach, Imama Amapakabo decides to invite foreign based players.
Speaking with brila.net, the former Kano Pillars goal poacher noted that he would continue to maintain top form and give his best so he could earn a call from the Dream Team coaches.
“I will continue to do my best, if I have the opportunity and get called up I will give a good representation like I did against D.R Congo when I played for the Super Eagles.
If coach Imama hands me an opportunity, I will be thrilled. I was opportuned to have listened to a few advice from him while with the Eagles and he is a NPFL champion so i believe he will do great with the team too”, he wrapped.
Junior Lokosa was invited by coach Gernot Rohr to the Super Eagles camp but was eventually dropped after failing to impress in the friendly against D.R. Congo.
