Flying Eagles captain, Ikouwem Udoh Utim says being selected in CAF’s best eleven at the recently concluded 2019 U-20 AFCON is a big boost to his career as a young footballer.
Speaking exclusively with brila.net, the Enyimba International of Aba defender noted that he would work harder to get better as a footballer.
“It is definitely a big boost for me and my career as I was listed in CAF’s best eleven for the tournament and I will just have to work more on it to get better. It will help me work even harder”, the Enyimba defender stated.
The Confederation of African Football(CAF) best eleven was dominated by Senegal who had four players, followed by Mali with three. Nigeria had two players, with one each from Niger and South Africa.
