President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Ibrahim Gusau has stated that the Federation is fully committed to the growth of Marathon races and intend to achieve this by building a Marathon culture in Nigeria.
Gusau speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the Federation has already set out plans to provide platforms and support necessary to organizers and private individuals who would want to venture into organizing athletics events which would afford Nigerian athletes the opportunity to be active and eventually sharpens their competitive edge.
