Former Nigerian defender and ex-international, Yisa Sofoluwe has thrown his weight behind Eagles gaffer, Gernot Rohr to select the best set of players ahead of this summer’s AFCON.
Sofoluwe added that he must be following the trends of Nigerian players abroad, especially those in the EPL, as he strongly believes the coaches will prepare the players adequately.
” I believe the coach is monitoring the players who ply their trade outside, especially in the Premier League so as to ensure the best players are called”
” I also have no doubt in my mind that the coaches will surely know what to do for the preparation so that everything can go as planned”.
