Lobi Stars head coach, Solomon Ogbeide said his side are not afraid of facing any team in the group stage of the 2018/2019 CAF Champions League.
Lobi overturned 3-1 first leg deficit to beat Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia 2-0 at the Nnamdi Azikwe stadium on Saturday, a victory that guarantees qualifications for the money spinning group stage of the competition.
However ahead of the Friday draw at the Confederation of African Football headquarters in Cairo , Lobi Stars has been placed in the Pot Four alongside JS Sauora of Algeria, Ismaili of Egypt and Simba Lions of Tanzania.
However, the gaffer of the side Solomon Ogbeide said his side are waiting for the draw on Friday.
“It was a good game for us against Gor Mahia and we look forward to a favourable draw on Friday in Cairo, Egypt,”
Meanwhile, Pot One consists of former winners of the competition namely; Esperance of Tunisia, TP Mazembe of Congo Democratic Republic, Wydad of Morocco and Al Ahly of Egypt.
In Pot Two are Club Africain of Tunisia, Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa, Horoya of Guinea and Vital O of Burundi.
In Pot Three are Orlando Pirates of South Africa, Asec Mimossa of Côte D’Ivoire and Platinum FC of Zimbabwe.
