Rangers coach Gbenga Ogunbote has warned his side that they must convert their chances despite securing a passage to the next round the CAF Confederations Cup over Algerian side USM Bel-Abeb on Sunday.
The Flying Antelopes scored twice through Bright Silas to sent the Algerian side out of the competition but it would have been comprehensive victory had they converted all the chances that came their way.
Ogunbote is unhappy that his side missed several chances and insists a lot of work must be done to ensure that the team were not punished by better goal-scoring sides in the competition.
“I commend the players for their efforts in the match but we have to work harder on converting our chances. There is a lot more to be done on the team but we have to take our chances to avoid being punished by teams who take theirs,” he said.
Rangers will know their next opponents in the competition of Friday where they will be drawn against any of the losers in the Champions League first round.
