Enugu Rangers manager, Gbenga Ogunbote says his side will come back from Ethiopia with the qualification ticket into the next preliminary phase of CAF Confederations Cup in their pockets.
Rangers will take a two goals lead and clean sheet into the second leg against Defence Force on Wednesday and all they need to qualify for the next phase is to avoid a defeat by three goals margin.
However, Ogunbote who’s dreaming to be the first Nigerian to win the CAF second elite football tournament opined that his team continental adventure will continue after Wednesday.
“With the game I saw them play in Enugu, I really don’t see us ending our campaign in Addis Ababa.
“Yes, they pass the ball well and we also have our strong points which will take us above them when we play at their backyard by the special grace of God.
“We may have some challenges in personnel registration for the competition but those we have are capable of holding their heads high when the chips are down.”
Ogunbote led Sunshine Stars of Akure to the semi-finals of CAF Champions league in 2012.
