Nigeria Striker Victor Osimhen continued his incredible run of formin the Belgian top-flight as he scored in Charleroi 3–1 win overCercle Brugge on Saturday.
The 19 year who joined the Belgian side on a season-long loan from German club Wolfsburg was handed his 12th league start at Stade du Pays de Charleroi on Saturday.
Cristian Benavente’s put Charleroi ahead in the 16th minute, before the former U17 world champion doubled his side’s advantage in the 53rd minute.
Marco Ilaimaharitra added the third to seal the three points which moved the Club to sixth place on the table with 26 points from 17 game.
Osimhen was replaced by Adama Niane with 11 minutes left on the clock.
Next for Charleroi is a Cup game against Genk on Wednesday.
