Super Eagles and Brighton defender Leon Balogun took to social media to express his displeasure over American model, Blac Chyna’s upcoming bleaching cream sales in Nigeria.
The 30-year-old American influencer is billed to kick off her first Nigerian visit on November 24 with a pool party in Abuja and a pop-up sales of her latest bleaching cream collection in Lagos on November 25.
Chyna recently took to her Instagram @blacchyna to endorse the bleaching cream, which is a result of a collaboration between her and skin whitening advocate, Dencia.
The Super Eagles defender took to his social media pages to express his displeasure at the Nonsense being pushed as a skin lightening product to be sold in Nigeria.
Shoutout to @chakabars for drawing attention ✊🏽Lagos, DO NOT support @BLACCHYNA & her nonsense. They only want to make profit on a false beauty ideal that is forced upon You. You are beautiful the way You are. Black is beautiful. Wear Your skin like a crown #LoveYourMelanin pic.twitter.com/mrVaH6zFJU

The model’s new product, in partnership with a brand called Whitenicious, was announced on Instagram.
The Whitenicious x Blac Chyna Collection is described as an “illuminating and brightening cream” that “lightens without bleaching skin out”.
Some skin lightening products are banned in the UK.
