Ahmed Musa is something of a lucky charm for Nigeria, not only because he scores important goals, but also because as the player himself has come to realize there’s a myth behind his game.
Musa has made 74 caps for Nigeria and among them he has played five times against South Africa [1-3-1].
Interestingly, the Winger has also played 8 times on South African soil at senior level with the Eagles without losing; that record stands as [ 4-4-0].
The Eagles captain for the 2019 AFCON qualifier is hoping for more of the same when he leads the team out against Bafana Bafana on Saturday, per Remi Sulola [TheCable.ng].
“I have never lost a game in South Africa and I’ll never lose by the grace of God.
“We came here for the three points and not a point. The game is going to be very difficult for the teams but we have to wait for 90 minutes to see,” he said.
