Dele Alampasu Planning Super Eagles return

Forgotten Man Dele Alampasu says he’s working hard enough to give himself a shot when the national team door opens again.

Alampasu, who has one cap for Nigeria, was last included in a Super Eagles squad in 2017 for the World Cup qualifier against Cameroon.

The former U17 World Cup winner has also struggled to hold down a first team spot at his Portuguese club, Feirense, a frustrating situation he admits.

Speaking with Brila.net the goalkeeper said, “I’m confident that the situation will improve and I know basically I need to work hard and hope things fall in place.

“The season is going well, it has been fine. I get the chance to go down and play for the second team and things have generally been better than before,” said the 2013 U17 World Cup golden glove winner.
