New Akwa United manager  Rafael Everton says he’s happy to return to the NPFL again and believes his work is good enough to take the Club to next level.

Everton was unveiled Monday afternoon in Uyo and he will replace Abdul Maikaba who left to take over Plateau United after the expiration of his contract last month.

 

The Brazilian whose last job in Nigeria was with Abia warriors said he’s happy with his return to Nigeria professional football league again.

 

“I am very to come back to Nigeria again, and Akwa United is a big team in Nigeria, so I’m happy to join them. Thanks to all Nigerians.

 

The 2016 Aiteo Cup winner with FC Ifeayin Ubah added that he’s not intimidated by the competitiveness of the Nigeria professional football league.

Everton will resume his opposition as the head coach of the Promise Keepers immediately and he’s expected to propel the Club to a good outing come next season.
