New Plateau United signing, Bernard Ovoke says he’s delighted to join 2017 NPFL champions, saying his admiration for Abdul Maikaba made the decision easier.
Ovoke told brila.net’s Oluwaseyi Alao shortly after he signed a three-year contract with the Abdul Maikaba tutored side that he’s very happy to have joined the Club without problems from his former club Rivers United.
“I am very happy to join Plateau United, it’s a big team and they have the same ambition as me“.
“I like the coach a lot because of his style of play and the management too, they did a lot to get me to the Club”. He told www.brila.net
The former Bayelsa United forward also thanked Rivers United for their understanding during the transfer negotiations.
“I will miss Rivers United, I had a good time with the Club, I don’t have any regret for playing for the Club “.
“I’m grateful to the coach, management, and the fans for supporting me all through but the time has come for me to experience new adventure”. He concluded.
