Former chairperson of the Women’s Professional Football League (NWFL), Dilichukwu Onyedinma has called for improved attention to players welfare and sponsorship in the league.
Dilichukwu told brila.net that there was need for concerted efforts to ensure the current NWFL scores higher than the previous seasons.
She advocated for equality in the enforcement of legislation as it affects players and clubs in the women league.

Dilichukwu also wants the NWFL to benefit from the nature and quality of incentives that the Nigeria Professional Football League have garnered.
