Akwa United Striker, Ibrahim AlHassan has been handed a Super Eagles call up according to sources.
AlHassan, who represented Nigeria at the U20 level, has been impressive for the Promise Keepers through the first stanza of the current NPFL season.
The Striker won the 2015 Africa U20 Cup of Nations with the Flying Eagles in Senegal, but was not a major player in the side as a 19-year-old.
His game has, however, matured over two years and is keeping the hopes of Akwa United, picking a continental ticket for next season, alive while also catching the eyes of Super Eagles Coach, Salisu Yusuf.
Last month Yusuf told brila.net that at least four NPFL players will be invited to join the Super Eagles camp in Corsica in June.
