Spanish La Liga outfit CD Leganes has confirmed the arrival of Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The La Liga side confirmed the signing of Omeruo on Tuesday during the team’s presentation ahead of their first competitive game of the season against Athletic Club.
This is the sixth consecutive season the World Cup player will be loaned out by Chelsea, having had previous stints with ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Kasimpasa (2) and Alanyaspor.
Omeruo is very versatile and can also play right-back. The last seasons, the player was in Turkey where he played on loan at Alanyaspor and Kasimpasa.
In the next few hours, Omeruo will be unveiled by Leganés and will join the latest additions of Jose Arnáiz, Óscar Rodríguez.
