Speaking with FC Ifeanyi Ubah media, shortly after the elimination of Junior Anambra Warriors from the NPFL Under 15 Promises Championship second round group stages.
Mr. Chuma Ubah filled with positivity, applauded the organizers of this historic tourney, he then threw more lights on the journey so far and benefits of the “One Family One Footballer Initiative.”
“Let me first and foremost, congratulate the LMC for making this dream a reality. They promised it will one day come to fruition and what started like child’s play two weeks ago is coming to an end on Saturday.
” We are proud and happy to be part of this experience. Twenty teams started this journey but we ended among the eight that made it to Lagos.
” We ended up with three points at the end but my joy is that we were never disgraced. These lads are some of the ambassadors of the Football made in Anambra project.”
” They are proud to put on this jersey and will have cause to wear it someday in the nearest future either as players of FC Ifeanyi Ubah or as our ambassadors to the big leagues across Europe. That is our vision.
” We want to discover the next Okocha’s, Kanu’s, Ronaldo’s and Messi’s here. We have started massive campaign across the length and breadth of the state and daily young talents are sprouting out of the little huts in villages hundreds of miles away from the capital.”

The Junior Anambra Warriors qualified unbeaten from Owerri Zone after defeating their counterparts Abia Warriors, Enyimba International, Akwa United and drew against the eventual table toppers Rivers United.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah had same points but were group runners up to Rivers United due to superior goals difference.
Unfortunately the team crashed out winning one game(against Shooting Stars Sports Club) and lost two (Niger Tornadoes and Katsina United) at the second round in Lagos, consequently missing out of the final four.
