New Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah continues to demonstrate his desire of promoting players from the Ghana top-flight as he was monitoring his third match in just five days on Wednesday.

Appiah, who arrived in the country last week Friday, continued his monitoring of the Ghana Premier League by watching WAFA SC play Liberty Professionals on Wednesday in Sogakope.

The former international defender has started work with the national team even though he is officially yet to start work after being appointed to take over from Israeli coach Avram Grant.

The ex-international officially starts work on May 1st after accepting a two-year deal.

Last Saturday, Appiah visited the El Wak stadium to watch the FA Cup match between Inter Allies and Liberty Professionals.

The former Al Khartoum had arrived in the country the previous day.

This is a clear demonstration of his desire to put the local game at the heart of his second stint as the Black Stars coach.
