The Bosses in China made it rain like Fat Joe and the spending spree got tongues wagging no doubt, but that money wan’t meant for just any player or position as Taye Taiwo would find out.
The former Olympique de Marseille Left-back told brila.net that the China money bags simply aren’t into defenders; he may be right too.
Tevez, Oscar, Graziano Pellè, Odion Ighalo and even John Obi Mikel all got the “rain showers“.
Meanwhile, Taiwo joined Swiss Super League side Laussanne-Sport in January for a six month deal, but revealed he considered a move to China… or thought it was on the cards.

Nine games after he joined Les blancs, the 32-year-old is loving life in Europe after all and even more so because he’s always with his family.
