Super Eagles wind down with game of ‘Monkey Post’

The Super Eagles are keeping it light ahead of their opening game in the FIFA 2018 World Cup on 16 June against Croatia.

The players were involved in a six-aside “monkey post” mini competition at their training base in Essentuki.

Captain Mikel Obi, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and John Ogu played on the same team with forwards, Odion Ighalo and Kelechi Iheanacho with defender Chidozie Awaziem.

Ndidi’s fitness had been a concern in the weeks leading to the tournament, but as per Babafemi Raji [Brila FM] the Midfielder is 100% fit to play in the first game.
