Flying Eagles Coach Paul Aigbogun has assured Nigerians that the Flying Eagles will overcome Guinea Bissau in next Saturday’s 2019 U20 AFCON qualifier.
Aigbogun in a brief chat with brila.net said his side is ready to go and win away from home in order to fast-track their qualifying process.
This was after initial fears that Guinea Bissau has pulled out despite knocking out Sierra Leone in the previous round of the qualifying series.
It has now been confirmed that the match will be played on Saturday in Bissau.
“The team will now travel either on Wednesday or Thursday.”
It was further gathered that a squad of 18 players will make the trip to Bissau.
The Flying Eagles trained on the grass pitch of the main bowl of the Abuja National Stadium as they will play the U20 AFCON qualifier on natural grass after they have been training on the artificial pitch of the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.
