Manager Unai Emery has announced he will step down from his role at French champions Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season.
“I thank president Nasser Al Khelaifi, the director of sports Antero Henrique, the supporters and all the players for these two seasons.”
During his two-year spell at the Parc des Princes, Emery has won the league and three domestic cups, with a fourth on the horizon against third division side Les Herbies in the final of the Coupe de France on May 8.
Champions League glory eluded him at the Parc de Princes, however, crashing out to Barcelona last season after a dramatic collapse from 5-3 up on aggregate in the 88th minute of the second leg.
