President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has stated that the NFF will only play advisory roles on the invitation of players to the Super Eagles and never will the Federation interfere with the running of on field matters which is under the purview of Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.
Pinnick speaking in a chat with Brila FM on the possible return of erstwhile Super Eagles captain and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama said if Gernot Rohr feels Enyeama is good enough to play in the Super Eagles as a goalkeeper, the Federation will give its blessings.
“The decision on who to invite rest on the coach, the only thing we will do with the Technical committee will be to advise the man but he has the final say on who he wants to have in the team. If Rohr thinks Enyeama is good for the team, then no problem having him on board.”
