Nigeria’s Suwaibidu Galadima has won gold in the men’s T47 100m at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
T47 is the disability sports category for athletes with a special disability, also could be termed as the track category for athletes with hand, wrist or below amputation.
Galadima recorded a time of 11.04 seconds to win the final on Friday.
Unfortunately, The Nigerian athlete suffered a hamstring injury on finishing his race and was subsequently attended to by the Medical personel on the sidelines.
