[dropcap]S[/dropcap]uper Falcons Players are due to report to the team camp in Paris, France, today ahead of their friendly game against the French team on billed for Friday.
This was disclosed by the head of women football unit in the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF].
Ruth David, who divulged this information also confirmed that Netherlands-based player, Sophia Omidiji, has been given a late call-up to the Super Falcons for Friday’s friendly with France in Le Mans.
Omidiji, who plays for Dutch top-flight side S.B.V Excelsior, disclosed this on her twitter handle @vegas2nl on Tuesday.
The US-born player was last invited to the camp of Nigeria’s U-20 side Falconets ahead of a 2016 World Cup qualifier against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The forward will join other 17 players invited to the Mercure Le Mans Centre as the team camp opens on (today).
Thomas Dennerby’s Super Falcons team were third placed at the maiden edition of the WAFU women’s tournament last month, and a real test for the Swede coach is Friday’s friendly against France as Nigerians anticipate and envisage a good term for the Super Falcons under Dennerby.
