Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr will by 8pm on Thursday wrap up his preparation for the Poland friendly with a practice session at the Municipal Stadium, but, the team is missing captain Mikel Obi according media officer, Toyin Ibitoye.
Mikel is staying back in his club base in China because of work permit issues and has been ruled out of the game against the Polish Eagles and is also a doubt for March 27th game against Serbia.
Ibitoye told Babafemi Raji on Brila FM’s Sports Machine that, ‘the 23 Players in camp in good spirit. Everybody is taking the forthcoming friendly very serious and everybody is training well and giving 100 percent.
However, Ibitoye admits that, ‘It’s a pity we’re missing our captain. Hopefully he’ll sort out his work permit but it’s looking tough.’
