Former Arsenal playmaker, Alexis Sanchez joined 13 times Premier League Champions, Manchester United during the January transfer window.
The swap deal involving Sanchez with Arsenal saw Henrikh Mhirkitryan join the Gunners and expectations were high.
However, Sanchez hasn’t lived up to the hype that greeted his transfer. The former Barca man has managed just 1 goal and 2 assists since January in all competition for the Red Devils and fans are beginning to question his commitment level on the pitch.
According to a source from the United team, The Chilean’s low productivity may be due to his inability to mix with the rest of the team off the pitch.
The source claims that the Chilean often cuts an unhappy and isolated figure. It has also been claimed that he tends to eat his lunch in the canteen all alone, away from his Red Devils team-mates.
“He looks like someone who doesn’t want to be here,’ the Manchester United source said.
“The whole thing doesn’t seem right and he looks like a lost boy.
It was the same with [Angel] Di Maria.”
Sanchez didn’t feature for United for the first time since joining in January last weekend during United’s FA Cup tie with Brighton and Hove.
