Chelsea youngster, Andreas Christensen has revealed he had to seek after Club Legend, john terry for advice after his recent run of poor form in recent weeks.
At the age of just 21 Christensen has displaced injury-plagued David Luiz and is often used as the foundation stone of Chelsea’s defense.
However, the pressure of that role appeared to be taking its toll on the youngster in recent weeks as he made costly errors against Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City.
Christensen looked much improved in the extra-time win over Leicester in the FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday after conversations with Aston Villa center-back Terry, who returned to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground earlier this month.
“My team-mates have seen all my other performances, so they know that these mistakes aren’t typical for me,” Christensen told Eurosport.
“I have had a smaller talk with John Terry: he has also experienced setbacks and it is always nice to talk to someone watching it from the outside and to learn that they have experienced the same.
“He told me that it is natural to make mistakes and he tried to put it in perspective for me saying that, if a forward misses a chance, he can make it good again by scoring when he gets the next opportunity.
