Junior Ajayi is one of the best forwards on the continent and deserves his first invitation to the Super Eagles but he must fight his way into the main team according to Ex player, Emmanuel Amunike.

Ajayi, 22, played the final of the CAF Champions League with Al Ahly last season and has become back to back champion of the Egypt Premier League.

In a telephone interview on Brila FM’s Sports Machine, Amunike said, ‘He has proven he’s one of the top strikers in the continent and he deserves his call up.

‘However, club and national football are two different things, Ajayi must realize this and work to break into the main team,’ the former Golden Eaglets Coach said.
