Perugia secured a 2-0 win over Brescia in Serie B last night – only to find their dressing room had been robbed at half-time.
During the first half of the match, ANSA reports, thieves broke in to the home dressing room at the Stadio Renato Curi and made off with wallets, personal effects, electronic material, jewelry and valuables.
It’s believed an expensive watch worth thousands of Euros was also stolen, with the total haul worth tens of thousands.
The referee was made aware of the situation at half-time, with the interval running to 25 minutes.
At the moment no signs have been found of a break-in, with doors and windows all in tact and nothing stolen from the Brescia dressing room.
Perugia used to pay the wages of former Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo.
