Former Barcelona defender, Dani Alves believes his Paris side can create history in the Champions League against Real Madrid during mid-week.
The former Juventus star Alves has further called on all of his colleagues at PSG to “seize the moment” on Tuesday night.
And that is on the second leg of their Champions League last-16 contest with the reigning champions of La Liga.
Despite that, though, the Parisians are presently trailing Los Blancos by a 3-1 margin after the first leg in Spain.
Alves has admitted the Parc des Princes outfit actually lack the chance to show themselves on the highest football stage.
The Champions League winner has, however, asked his team-mates to rise to the occasion at the Parc des Princes come Tuesday.
While speaking at a press conference, the 34-year-old made a disclosure to reporters: “What are PSG missing?
“Matches like this to show that Paris is not all about money, I came here because I am a competitor.
“It is in my blood and being part of the history of the club is not something you can buy.
“If I speak to the squad, I will say we have to seize this important moment, we can re-write history.
“Changing history was one of the big reasons I decided to come here and now, we have to do it.
“We cannot even think about it, we just have to do it and we believe we can,” the left-back concluded.
