Al Ahly forward, Junior Ajayi has sent a ‘look me up’ message to Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr in a lowkey tweet on Thursday.
Ajayi, a member of Nigeria’s U23 Olympic stars that won bronze at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, is yet to earn a Super Eagles cap.
The 22-year-old has featured prominently for the Egyptian giants and played in the CAF Champions League final last season.
The former 3SC forward tweeted: ⚽🏆🔥💪👏👍🇳🇬 Nothing like preparation. Up @AlAhly #YallaYaAhly #Russia2018 #AjayiJnr #HopeAndPray #WorkHardPlayHarder #RoadToFourth

Rohr is yet to name a squad for the pre-world cup friendly against Poland – one of six lined up – but the competition for places upfront in the Eagles attack is fierce.
The likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Victor Moses, Odion Ighalo, Anthony Nwakaeme, Ahmed Musa, Kayode Olanrewaju and Henry Onyekuru are all in contention.
