Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye has completed a loan move away from his Chinese Super League side, Tianjin Teda to join Malaga CF.
The Former West Bromwich Albion striker confirmed the news earlier today on his Social media handle saying he is so happy to have completed the move.
“So happy to have signed for @malagacf on loan in one of the biggest leagues in the world, I enjoyed my time at @tianjinteda and I want to thank the management and fans”.
“Now onto a new chapter of La Liga, Big thanks to everyone who made this possible for me I’m Grateful, I can’t wait to get started! #thankful” Ideye posted on Instagram.
The former Olympiakos hitman will be aiming to help the White and Sky Blues in their relegation survival as they languish at the bottom of the La Liga table with 13 points from 21 games.
“Brown Ideye is on loan to Málaga CF for the remainder of the season, from Chinese outfit, Tianjin Teda,” the statement reads on the club website.
“The striker successfully passed the relevant medical examination at Vithas Salud Rincón Medical Center Rosaleda.”
Ideye moved to team up with compatriot, John Mikel Obi in China a year ago after his incredible goalscoring run for Olympiakos having registered 23 efforts in 44 league games across two seasons.
