Ngozi Okobi has described the appointment of Thomas Dennerby as Super Falcons Coach as a delightful news.

The Super Falcons have been without a Coach in 133 months since the NFF and former Falcons Coach Florence Omagbemi parted company.

According to Okobi the news comes as a relief for the players of the team.

‘I am happy about the news. It is good to know we now have someone to call a Coach and I’m sure the girls; every player in the team will be happy about this.’

Confirming the appointment on Thursday, the NFF announced the Swede will be in charge till 2020, with an option to renew.
