Al-Ahly striker, Junior Ajayi is still relishing his third league goal in the Egyptian Premier League, but says he is determined to face more challenges with the side.
Ajayi was beaming from ear-to-ear, after netting in the 65th minute, as The Red Devils beat Misr El-Makasa 2-1 on Sunday in his 13th league match this season, which he said was a great game, by a great team, for their great fans, and he thanked God for victories ahead.
The former youth international and Rio 2016 Olympics bronze medallist, who scored eight goals and provided four assists in 22 league appearances with the Red Castle last season, said he hopes to achieve more with the club he joined from CS Sfaxien of Tunisia in 2016.
“I’m confident Al Ahly is my gateway to any success, whether it’s on a personal level or with the national team. I’m now fully focused on my performance with Al Ahly so that I may achieve more success,” Ajayi said.
