Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has come out to relay a few worries over the confidence of new signing, Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Frenchman has admitted he has concerns about how the disappointing spell at Manchester United could have affected the midfielder.

Mkhitaryan has earned a transfer to the Emirates Stadium as part of the deal for Alexis Sanchez joining Manchester United.

Despite just making the move this January, the Armenian international himself has been a long-time admirer of the North Londoners.

“Of course you worry about how much it has affected him,” The Sun quotes the French gaffer as saying.

“I might have to analyze with him how things went in the past.

“Then, we will see exactly what it is that we can do and how we can help him.

“But this is a new chance for him which is what everyone wants in life.

“And I am sure that with his great footballing quality, he will take it.

“He has the qualities to integrate into our technical game and he has a good team attitude.

“So, I am confident it will work, it is not just about buying players for huge amounts of money.

“And that is where it is only about the millions and not so much about values.

“It’s about having players in your team who care about your club, who have a sense of belonging and pride,” Wenger concluded.
