Former Super Eagles Coach, Augustine ‘Owen’ Eguavoen has congratulated the Franco-German Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr over the renewal of his contract by the Football Federation.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with brila.net’s Chidozie Okoroji [Overdoze], the former Coach said the Coach has done well with the team so far and everyone, Nigerians are happy with his works.

“The results of his works have spoken for him, and the NFF has also done well too, the two-year deal means job secured”, Eguavoen told brila.

Eguavoen, who was a former Coach of the Super Eagles also made comments on the CHAN tournament going on in Morocco.

“Anything short of 3points against Libya might not be good”, the Former Sunshine stars Coach stated.

“The team actually dominated the game against Rwanda, we were just unlucky with the finishes”, Nigerians are waiting for Friday, and I’m sure the lads are also waiting to do the Country proud,” says Eguavoen.

Eguavoen was a member of the Nigeria squad that qualified for the country’s first ever World Cup in 1994 and won the African Nations Cup in the same year.
