Gernot Rohr has signed a two-year extension to remain as Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles and Brila Media CEO, Dr. Larry Izamoje believes it is well deserved.
Rohr’s initial two year deal will run out at the end of the World Cup year in 2018.
Lauding the deal, Dr. Izamoje stressed that it meant the NFF had confidence in the Rohr’s ability to build a team that will serve as the future of the Super Eagles.
Nigeria’s squad in the World Cup qualifiers was the youngest according to a report issued by FIFA.
‘It is important for the Coach to return after the World Cup and be certain he still has a job. I believe it is important that the Coach had this deal sorted out before the tournament,’ he expressed.
